A Newcastle firm of medical accountants has been recognised by the finance industry after only 12 months in business when it was named as a finalist in the North East Accountancy Awards for 'Independent Firm of the Year'.
Niche medical accountancy specialist BW Medical Accountants, which now employs 13 staff and acts for an increasing number of medical practitioners and GP Practices across the country, celebrated its success at a prestigious awards dinner held at the Hilton Newcastle/Gateshead Hotel.
Supported by national industry bodies including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the awards organisation, now in its eighth year, recognised the firm for its excellence and quality in the fields of finance, accounting and tax.
The recognition follows a period of significant growth for the company, with the awards committee being impressed with BW Medical's client focused approach and positive working environment. By bringing expert staff who have worked together in previous roles for many years, BW Medical demonstrated how it has successfully engaged with clients, delivering excellence in its services and rewarding its team.
Up against a range of well-established businesses and organisations in the north east, BW Medical Accountants has demonstrated the success achieved since launching in July 2013, with a growing portfolio of over 400 medical clients and over 60 GP practices, thanks to its unique offering of being the only niche medical practice in the region.
