Intro

Scott works at BW Medical as a Medical Senior Tax Manager offering expertise and in-depth knowledge of all taxation issues relating to healthcare professionals. Collectively the team manage a national portfolio of over 2,000 NHS professionals including Locums, GP Partners, Consultants, Chief Executives, Hospital Doctors. Nurses and Dentists.

 

Professional Experience

Scott began his career in 2006 with HM Revenue and Customs as Administration Assistant which provided him with a strong understanding of the UK tax system. He then moved to Ernst and Young as Personal Tax Assistant before moving to regional firm RMT as Medical Tax Senior. It was here, he first met and worked alongside David Elliot advising healthcare professionals. 

After eight years, Scott joined Bell Tindle Williamson as Tax Manager, managing a client portfolio of 300+ individuals, companies and partnerships. This enables Scott to oversee the compliance process from start to finish, preparing Corporation Tax Returns and computations for a varied portfolio of companies. 

In 2019, Scott took the opportunity to work alongside former colleagues at BW Medical Accountants, bringing with him his substantial medical accountancy experience and wider business expertise.

Expertise

As Senior Tax Manager, Scott is responsible for overseeing the tax department, preparing personal partnership and corporation tax returns and computations. His exceptional knowledge of the UK tax system, especially with regards to the healthcare system means he is perfectly placed to support medical professionals from qualification through to retirement.
