Rachael has worked in marketing & communication roles for over 15 years, specialising in communications and strategic development for leading financial and healthcare companies.
Rachael qualified in marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University and began her career in the professional services sector in 2003 at a regional accountancy firm. As Group Marketing Manager, Rachael developed her expertise in business development and marketing, with responsibility for the execution of the group's marketing plan.
After leaving in 2008, Rachael moved into the healthcare sector and further developed her expertise in marketing communications and operational management over the next four years. Her role included supporting the implementation of NHS primary care musculoskeletal (MSK) services in nine Trusts across England; developing and implementing the communications plans, patient literature, the patient/GP referral satisfaction programmes and liaising with multiple stakeholders on service developments. Rachael was also part of the implementation teams, liaising with CCG Clinical leads, Secondary Care and presented pathway changes to referring GPs.
In 2012 following consultancy work to re-brand RMT Financial Management to Blackett Walker Ltd (Independent Financial Advisers and Employee Benefits Consultancy), Rachael joined Blackett Walker full-time as Marketing Manager. In July 2013, following an excellent track record of working with medical professionals at all levels, Rachael took on an additional role as Marketing Manager for BW Medical Accountants and helped to establish the firm alongside Keith Taylor and Suzanne Tait.
Rachael now works full-time for BW Medical Accountants heading up marketing, business development and working as Client Relationship Manager.
As Client Relationship Manager, Rachael deals with new client enquiries and liaises with clients regarding the educational sessions & 'NHS Working at scale' support services delivered by the company, ensuring they are tailored to the clients' specific requirements.
Rachael's role takes in the monitoring and analysis of client satisfaction levels to ensure the company continuously strives for excellence, and to develop and build on the services offered to meet the clients needs.
In addition to client liaison, Rachael is also responsible for the development of marketing materials and the company website, as well as liaising with industry professionals for the development of business opportunities.
