NHS Pensions Technician
With a background in financial services administration, I supported our founding Director NHS Pension expert Kevin Walker for many years at our former sister company. When I was provided with an opportunity to broaden my technical skills and work within BW Medical's NHS Pension team - I jumped at the change to progress my career and work within a highly specialist team.

Professional Experience

Helen began her career in professional services in 2005 at Winn Solicitors. After ten years she joined our former sister company; independent financial advisory firm Blackett Walker working within the Client Services team providing technical admin duties for the advisers.  In 2020, Helen switched across to BW Medical Accountants and joined our growing NHS Pensions team, initially as Team Leader and has since been promoted to NHS Pensions Technician.

We routinely highlight a catalogue of errors with NHS Pension data, records in the main don't tend to reflect your career pathway and earnings are rarely accurately recorded which means your contributions won't be accounted for. Through our range of service we tackle this issue head on, liaising with PCSE and NHSBSA to correct records in order to provide our clients with peace of mind.
